966: The future was in good hands.
And with that, I am done typing everything in. Total word count: 149,199. Just shy of 150K. Which should leave plenty of room to cut.
Tomorrow I begin figuring out how to use Scrivener's awesome (or so I've been lead to believe) organizing tools. Figure out what order the scenes go in, and which are missing, and which are redundant. I expect that process to take a couple of weeks. (Which, judging from my previous estimates means it'll probably take a couple of months...) And then the re-write. And then the beta readers. And then the re-re-write. And then, after however long that takes, the search for an agent. Woohoo!
